Kigali Innovation City
Umujyi wa Kigali Innovation City (KIC) ni ihuriro ry'ikoranabuhanga ryateganijwe i Kigali mu Rwanda.[1] Guverinoma y'u Rwanda yizeye gukurura kaminuza zo mu gihugu ndetse no mu mahanga, amasosiyete y'ikoranabuhanga ndetse n’ibigo bikoresha ikoranabuhanga ry’ibinyabuzima, kandi bikagira amazu y’ubucuruzi n’ubucuruzi.[2][3][4] Ikaba igamije kubakwa kuri hegitari 70 z'ubutaka[2] muri Kigali idasanzwe y’ubukungu mu karere ka Gasabo.[5][6]
Umujyi wa Kigali Innovation City uri muri gahunda ya Guverinoma y’u Rwanda Icyerekezo 2020[5] n’ubufatanye bwa Leta n’abikorera hagati ya Guverinoma na Afurika50.[7][8] Afurika50, urubuga rw’ishoramari rw’ibikorwa remezo rwashinzwe na Banki nyafurika itsura amajyambere (AfDB) n’ibihugu bya Afurika, ni umuterankunga n’umufatanyabikorwa uzafasha guteza imbere no gutera inkunga umushinga.[5]
Umujyi wa Kigali Innovation wagereranijwe n’umujyi wa Konza w’ikoranabuhanga uteganijwe muri Kenya, watangajwe mu 2008,[4][8][9][10] hamwe n’itsinda ry’ikoranabuhanga ryateganijwe muri Gana, ryatangajwe mu 2013.[4][8]
