Isumo rya Bujagali (ryari rizwi kuzina Budhagali ) ryari isumo riherereye hafi ya Jinja muri Uganda aho uruzi rwa Nili ruherereye mu kiyaga cya Victoriya, rimwe na rimwe rufatwa nk'isoko ya Nili. Muntangiriro y'Ugushyingo mu mwaka 2011, ukugwa byarengewe n'urugomero rushya rwa Bujagali.

Ikibazo gikomeye cy'amashanyarazi cyateye ingaruka zikomeye ku mibereho ya miliyoni z'Abagande kandi gihungabanya iterambere ry'igihugu.Bimwe mubyahungabanijwe Ibitaro, amashuri, ubucuruzi, n’imiturire byahungabanijwe nokubura kw’amashanyarazi mu gihe runaka, ibyo bikaba byarazamuye ubukungu bwa Uganda bukiyongera ku kigereranyo cy’ijana ku bicuruzwa byinjira mu gihugu. Umushinga wa Bujagali n'ikigo cy’amashanyarazi cya 200MW [1]gikora kuri Nili ya Victoria muri Uganda kizafasha kuzahura ikibazo cy’ingufu z'amashanyarazi mugihugu. Uyu mushinga uuterwa inkunga n'ikigo cyitwa Ingamba zagutse z’iterambere rya Uganda, umushinga wibanda ahanini ku ishoramari mu itera mbere ry'ikirere hagamijwe kuzamura iterambere no kugabanya ubukene.

Abandi bavuga ko kuzahura ingufu z'urugomero bihenze bidakenewe na benshi mu baturage b'iki gihugu, bakazarohamishwa no kuzamuka kw'amazi, kandi bikaba byawangiza byinshi ku kiyaga cya Victoriya, ikiyaga kinini gishyuha cyane ku isi. Abantu bagera ku 6.800 bazagira ingaruka ku buryo butaziguye no gushinga urugomero. [1]

Abaguye ku Isumo bavuga ko kugwa ariho hantu h'umwuka, hitwa "Umwuka wa Bujabald," ushinzwe kurinda abaturage bakora imihango yo kugwa. Umwuka ugaragarira mu mugabo, Jjaajja Budhagali, utuye iruhande rw'Isumo; ni abantu mirongo itatu n'icyenda ba bana n'umwuka. [2]
