Licence This photo has a <a href="https://creativecommons.org" rel="noreferrer nofollow">creative commons licence</a> and has been used in a few places accordingly. Thanks, I am pleased about that. However, if you'd like to use it, I ask that you respect both the <a href="https://www.flickr.com/guidelines.gne">Flickr community guidelines</a> and <a href="https://www.flickr.com/people/oledoe/">my own</a> regarding CC licenced content. I.e. the picture itself has to link back here and the attribution must be near the image and include my flickr name, e.g. "Photo by oledoe (cc)" Donation Pearson publishers offered me $300 to use this photo in the book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Geography-People-Places-Environment/dp/0321695313" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Introduction to Geography: People, Places, and Environment (5th ed)</a>" - which I accepted. The good news: I wanted to give that money to a good cause in Rwanda, because that is where I took the picture. So, I have donated GBP 200 (which is about $325) to the <a href="http://www.ryico.org" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Rwandan Youth Information Community Organisation (rYico)</a>. Check them out! The bad news: Person only paid me $210. When enquiring about this they asked me to fill in forms and to register with US tax authorities, which I find a bit presumptuous. Anyway, I hope that in the end I was able to give something back to Rwanda. If you would like to use this picture, do consider a donation to a good cause in Rwanda.
