English: At 9:15 am, the Vice President attended the ASEAN Disability Forum (ADF) Conference in Heritage Hotel, Manila. The ADF is a network of Disabled People’s Organizations (DPOs) in the ASEAN region. It aims to raise awareness, promote the rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs), and work towards the development of disability inclusive policies in ASEAN countries. The conference also served as an avenue for representatives of various stakeholders to raise issues concerning PWDs and strategize policies that will address them. |
